Piano Accompaniment Services Angela
Lloyd-Mostyn is available for all
forms of accompaniment: exams, auditions, demo tapes, concerts, choir
rehearsals, orchestral pianist, organ-playing at church services, and she also
offers coaching sessions for singers. Rates
are variable depending on the repertoire, time-scale and location. Please contact her to discuss your
requirements.
Over the years Angela has given many recitals nationwide with other talented
artists and as a soloist in her own right. An exemplary sight-reader,
Angela works with many institutions and organisations for audition and
examination accompaniment. Angela is a resident accompanist at Leeds
College of Music and Manchester High School for Girls. In
2004 Angela received a full fees bursary as a Named Scholar at the Royal
Northern College of Music, where she completed her studies for a postgraduate
diploma in Advanced Performance (piano accompaniment).
She won first prize with her contemporary music trio
NYX
in the 2005 RNCM Granada Prize for chamber music, and was also awarded the both
the Stella
Bradshaw Award for Piano Accompaniment and the W. Holmes & Saville Prize for
Lieder.
Whilst at RNCM Angela was a repetiteur for the acclaimed production of Maxwell Davies’ opera The Lighthouse. This led to professional engagements as a repetiteur with City of Manchester Opera, Avalon Opera, and freelance coaching work with many singers. |
